How to Order Your Sacred Mandala
The mandala creation process is one that doesn’t use words in the final piece - but reflects a lot of “you” in number and colour form. I use my intuition to guide me in how the piece will come together, leading to the interplay between the colour and shape through the different layers of the mandala.
This is the Journey to
1. Determine what size you would like:
You can choose either a 30cm, 40cm, 50cm, 60cm, 80cm, 100cm board, or a 40cm mirror - depending on where you envision placing your mandala.
2. Consider the intention of the mandala:
How do you want it to make you feel? What aspiration or heart desire would you like it to reflect back to you? These intentions are scribed onto your mandala beneath the base coat of primer for the additional energetic tuning of your mandala.
3. What colours do you love?
What are your favourite colours or colour combinations, do you have personal items or decor that truly reflect “you”? Is there any challenge in your life that this mandala could support you with? We can tune the mandala into chakra energy that you would like to heal or amplify.
4. Start to collate images:
You would be surprised what “teal, turquoise, aqua” or even “green” can mean to people. Collate online screenshots or photos that represent the hue of colour that you love or envision for your commissioned piece. The more specific you can be about the colour in a photo to me - the better. This saves confusion and miscommunicated colour choices.
5. Work out what background colour:
What colour background would you like to include on your mandala - white or black or something more specific?
6. Provide me with your birth date:
I will use your birth date to work out the numerology. What intentions above can be represented in numerology to include in your mandala? (Eg - the number 8 could represent more money flow, or the number 6 could represent more love and harmony in your life)
7. Do you have any elements you want to include?
Like sacred geometry (flower of life, taurus, tree of life, anything else you have seen and liked?) or an outer ring of a specific colour? Or not - that is cool too.
8. Leave it with me:
I will live with your insights and integrate the information in my mind, and designs/colour combinations flow through to me in the lead-up to painting your piece.
